The agency "Turkmensvyaz" held an international tender for the purchase of equipment necessary for the expansion of the cellular communication system of CJSC "Altyn Asyr".
According to the official website of the organization, new equipment is planned to be purchased to modernize the operation of the mobile Internet system in Turkmenistan.
Based on the results of the tender, proposals from several foreign partners were selected.
Let us recall that the “Altyn Asyr” company was established in 2004. The company became a member of the World Association of GSM Cellular Operators, where it was registered under the TM CELL trademark with the index 438 02. The operator offers Internet services using 2G GPRS, 3G WCDMA and 4G LTE technologies.
