The Games of the XXXII Olympiad, which took place at the sports arenas between July 23 and August 8, came to an end in Tokyo.
It was a difficult competition for all athletes. Considering that the Games were postponed for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic, and for a long time its holding was questioned even in 2021. But the most spectacular sports battles took place despite everything.
According to the results of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, the national team of Turkmenistan has one award: silver by Polina Guryeva (weightlifting, up to 59 kg).
In the medal standings, our national team officially ranked 77th, ahead of such countries as Kazakhstan, Mexico, Finland, Kuwait, and a number of other states.
