The Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, among the government agencies and organizations, is one of the participants of the International Exhibition of National Products in the Turkmenbashi seaport. The enterprises of the domestic textile industry regularly demonstrate their products at international industrial exhibitions.

There are more than 70 textile enterprises in Turkmenistan that produce a wide variety of cotton products, ranging from cotton yarn and linen to finished products made of knitted, terry, denim, and mixed fabrics. Because of the variety assortment and quality, the products of Turkmen textile enterprises are in demand not only within the country but abroad as well. More than 70 percent of the manufactured products are exported to countries such as Russia, the United States, Turkey, China, Ukraine, Europe, and the Baltic States.

At each exhibition, stands with textile products produced in Turkmenistan attract the attention of guests from abroad and not only. The current exhibition was an opportunity for domestic textile enterprises to demonstrate a wide range of products in both modern and national style: men's and women's jeans and T-shirts, women's clothing, dresses and dons (women’s traditional dress) with embroidery, as well as samples of cotton yarn.
