The volume of imports of goods to Turkmenistan from Spain in 2020 amounted to 30.5 million Euros, Trend reports citing the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture.
Spain supplies to Turkmenistan agricultural products, timber and wood products, furniture, electrical appliances and other goods.
In accordance with the information, imports to Spain from Turkmenistan in 2020 amounted to 1.3 million Euros. The most significant part of the imported goods is fertilizers.
The list of the main Spanish companies cooperating with Turkmenistan includes: “Ibertest”, “Indra”, “Repsol”, Talgo, IDOM, TYPSA, Técnicas Reunidas.
We add that Turkmenistan and Spain adopted a joint communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations in March 1992. Among the priority areas of Turkmenistan and Spain are trade and economic partnership, interaction in the field of tourism, fuel and energy complex, in the field of water management and the use of alternative energy sources.
