President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping expressed his readiness to hold a telephone conversation with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the “Vatan” news program of Turkmen television reported today.
“I am ready to hold a telephone conversation with you at a convenient time for us and exchange views on a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation to advance the Chinese-Turkmen relations,” says Xi Jinping's message to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The Chinese leader also expressed condolences to the President of Turkmenistan in connection with the death of his father, Malikguly Berdimuhamedov.
“Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your father. I express my sincere sympathy and support to you and your family members in front of this irreparable loss,” Xi Jinping's telegram says.
