121-year-old Ajapsoltan Hajiyeva, a resident of Mary etrap of Mary velayat, a long living procession’s leader in Turkmenistan, expressed her gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan during her International Women's Day congratulations. This was stated in an interview published in the “Turkmenistan” newspaper, “Praise be to Ajapsoltan, a 121-year-old resident of the 21st century”. Ajapsoltan Hajiyeva notes:

- I am writing the 121st spring of my life. Thank God I realized in my life that spring is more than spring. Our generous Arkadag Son has turned our lives into spring. I urge my people and generations to live in appreciation of our times. People who always express gratitude, would never be weak. The Truth is on their side. May the prayers of many be a lake, and may the life of our dear President be in vain! Every year on March 8, Victory Day, they come to congratulate and present gifts. Those moments are both joyful and reminiscent of my youthful experiences. The 8th of March holiday always reminds me of my mother. She could not rejoice in the happiness of her children for long. It's fate ... I was young and very young at the time. I don't even remember her image anymore ... I tried not to tell my siblings that she wasn't there anymore. Yes, although we became mothers ourselves, we miss or mother’s compassion. Mothers always do want to stay mothers... This holiday is a holiday that reminds me of my mother’s days. I urge my grandchildren and great-grandchildren always to respect their parents. While they are present, your table is blessed, the world is safe.

My younger brothers Meret and Juma would go to find the fire. I put a chair under my feet and made bread in the tamdir. My siblings were small and if I didn’t help my dad it embarrassed me a lot. Then I get used to the gas. I picked the wheat. I both have milled carpets and weaved rugs. That’s how I got to work. My life had found me. I understand that the secret to longevity is in labor. Labor purifies the human heart. If your heart is pure, your life is also pure.

Thank you our Heroic Arkadag! I’m satisfied with our times. I’m gratified that I live in a good time. There is a difference between our childhood and today’s children as night and day. We were fortunate enough to see these happy days. We have everything, we live a rich life. There was always one wish in my life to be in a good health. My husband, Haji, died in the war. As I was about to give my sisters the love of my mother, I tried not deprive my own son Ata of the father’s love. Those times were different. The period did not respect anyone. What we saw was hard work, all we wished for was a safe, peaceful life. Thank God, my dreams of that time came true and I tasted the delicious fruit of them all. I liken the spring of the Turkmen land to my dreams come true.

The well-being and prosperous period came with the courage and hard work of Arkadag Son. Our Turkmenistan has become a Neutral, Independent State. Everyone knows the value of such happiness, but it is a very different kind of happiness for us. We have been waiting for this for a long time. The value of what is expected is different. We have lived this dream for many years of our lives. I am also fortunate that my 121 years have coincided with the 30th anniversary of our Independence. I am a happy mother thanks to our President Arkadag. My son Ata, my daughter-in-law Täzegül, my 12 grandchildren born by them, as well as my 67 great-grandchildren and 32 great-great-grandchildren are all my pride and wealth. Our Heroic Arkadag always has a high regard for mothers. This year, too, we received a present gift for International Women’s Day. We always feel the care of our fair-minded President. That is why our appreciation will never fade. May the head of state be happy and may his work continue to prosper!
