President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved today the cost estimate of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as for the maintenance of diplomatic missions and consular offices in foreign countries for 2021, the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.
The relevant Decree was signed "in accordance with the laws of Turkmenistan "on the diplomatic service", "on the status of diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan in foreign countries" and "on consular institutions of Turkmenistan abroad" in order to improve the activities of diplomatic missions and consular institutions of Turkmenistan in foreign countries and ensure the effective performance of their obligations".
The document prescribes that the Ministry of foreign affairs, together with the Ministry of justice, should prepare proposals for introducing amendments and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Resolution within a month and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers.
This Resolution will come into force on January 1, 2021.
