The online training, organized by the IOM representative office in Turkmenistan, focused on developing strategies to increase the capacity of public organizations to adapt their activities to new working conditions as a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

About 10 IOM partner public organizations participated in the one – day training. The main focus was on changes in the organization of internal work processes, new approaches to providing assistance and support to victims of human trafficking, as well as new forms of awareness-raising for the prevention of human trafficking.

Participants of the event learned how to organize remote work of employees most effectively, what preventive measures should be observed when working in the office, how to use video communication to communicate with beneficiaries and partners, how to conduct information work in a new format, as well as what opportunities exist for wider use of information and communication technologies.

Based on the results of the training, strategies were developed to increase the potential of each of the presented public organizations. The strategy will help you adapt your organization's activities to the new working environment.
