In honor of the national holiday of the Turkmen horse, the winners of the race among riders-mentors in the Lebap velayat and the beauty contest of Akhal-Teke horses will be awarded presidential prizes. The corresponding Order Was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov today, the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.
The document States that the races in the Lebap equestrian sports complex will be held on April 23, 2020, and the international beauty contest of Akhal-Teke horses will be held on April 25, 2020 in Ashgabat.
Last week, the President of Turkmenistan signed another Decree ordering the winners of competitions held on the occasion of the national holiday of the Turkmen horse to be awarded with appropriate prizes.
The national holiday of the Turkmen horse, according to a long-established tradition, is celebrated on the last Sunday of April.
