Today, foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a telephone conversation with foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba, the website of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The Ministers discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its further development. The importance of contacts at the highest state level was stressed, and in this regard, the parties discussed the possibility of organizing a meeting of the Presidents of the two countries in the future.
They also agreed on the need to intensify contacts at the level of foreign ministries.
During the conversation, the role of the Joint Turkmen-Ukrainian Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation as an important mechanism for bilateral interstate partnership was emphasized.
