The Embassy of the Russian Federation is working on the possibility of returning home its citizens who are temporarily on the territory of Turkmenistan, in connection with the suspension of regular flights between the two countries from March 17, 2020. This is reported today by the Russian Embassy on its website.
Air traffic between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation was suspended after the government Order of the Russian Federation adopted on March 16, 2020 on temporary (from March 18 to May 1) restriction of entry to Russia of foreign citizens and stateless persons in order to ensure state security, protect public health and non-proliferation of a new coronavirus infection.
In this regard, the Embassy of the Russian Federation asks its citizens to inform urgently by the emergency phone number +993-61-98-11-68 about their location in Turkmenistan (full home address, contact phone number or email address), the date of entry into Turkmenistan and the planned date of return to Russia.
