The head coach of the national football team of Turkmenistan Ante Mishe in an interview with the Croatian newspaper "Sportske novosti" said that for nine months of work in Turkmenistan, he did not have a language barrier. This is not surprising, because people in Turkmenistan speak Russian and English well in addition to Turkmen.
- From the first day of work, I didn't want to have an interpreter. It was difficult, but now I have meetings in Russian and even press conferences. If something is not clear, I put in a little English words, but mostly I can communicate. And with people in the store, on the street and with football terms-this is the least problem. In nine months I have mastered Russian quite well.
