Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in the capital of Turkmenistan today. He will take part in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which will be held in Ashgabat on October 10, SNG. Today reports.

Turkmenistan holds the presidency of the Commonwealth of Independent States this year. The agenda of the meeting of the Council of foreign Ministers of the CIS includes ten issues in different areas of cooperation within the organization.
Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Tajikistan have already arrived in Ashgabat for the meeting of the foreign Ministry.
