From 20 to 28 April 2019, the Asian Weightlifting Championships take place in the Chinese city of Ningbo.

In the weight category up to 81 kilograms, the 22-year-old representative of Turkmenistan, a 4th year student of the National Institute of Sports and Tourism, Aysoltan Toychyyeva performed. In the exercise jerk, our compatriot won a small silver medal, lifting 114 kg. In terms of double-event (204 kg), the Turkmen athlete took fourth place.

According to the results of the Kazakhstan team Raushan Meshitkhanova took the third place (205 kg), the second - Mönkhjantsangiin Ankhtsetseg from Mongolia (206 kg), the first - Kang Yeoun-hee from the Republic of Korea (220 kg).
