Today, the 17th championship of Turkmenistan in the sports version of the game “What? Where? When?" Took place in the restaurant Chocolate of the capital shopping and entertainment center Berkarar. The competition was held under the patronage of the International Association of Clubs “What? Where? When?". In the intellectual battle 14 teams fought: the best scholars of different ages from the city of Ashgabat. Everyone who wanted to participate, both teams and individual players, were invited to participate in the championship. Connoisseurs played four rounds of fifteen questions.   

It was not the first time when the “Old Guard” became the best team (captain - Roman Bespalov). The second place was won by “Va-Bank” (captain - Arslan Omadov). The “Altyn Asyr” team (captain - Hemra Atabayev) closed the top three.

The winner of the tournament won the right to represent Turkmenistan at the World Championships for the sports version of the game “What? Where? When?” to be held in September 2019 in Baku (Azerbaijan). The best team among schoolchildren were given books as a gift.
