Yusup Orazov, a first-year student at the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, participated in the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) summer school of journalism, held in Tajikistan from June 28 to July 12.

This program, organized for young media professionals and aspiring journalists from Central Asia, was implemented by the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe with the support of the European Union Delegation to Tajikistan.

During the training, special attention was paid to key trends in modern mass media, professional ethical standards, the development of media literacy, and methods for combating disinformation (false information).

Within the framework of the practical sessions, participants familiarized themselves with the operations of Tajikistan’s state television channel "Safina."

Upon completion of the summer school, Yusup Orazov was awarded an international certificate of successful completion.
