A yovar (commemoration service) was held at the Gurban ogly Welmyrat cemetery in the village of Magtymguly, Ak Bugday etrap, Ahal velayat. The event was attended by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as representatives of the clergy and elders.

As the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports, the holding of the yovar reflects the continuity of the national traditions of the Turkmen people.
