The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United States met with participants of the FLEX student exchange program

Turkmenistan's Ambassador to the United States, Esen Aidogdyev, met with Turkmen students who completed the 2025–2026 academic year as part of the FLEX (Future Leaders in Exchange) program at American high schools. This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United States.

The head of the diplomatic mission congratulated the students on the successful completion of the program, wished them further academic success, and emphasized the important role of educational exchanges in strengthening mutual understanding, friendship, and interpersonal ties between the two countries.

Embassy Counselor Meret Orazov also participated in the event. During his presentation, he briefed the students on key milestones in state-building in connection with the upcoming 35th anniversary of independence, as well as the motto for 2026: "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds." In addition, current issues of Turkmen-American relations, recent high-level contacts and interaction within the C5+1 format were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the embassy’s activities in developing political, economic, educational and cultural ties between Turkmenistan and the United States.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views with FLEX program participants.
