The President of Turkmenistan, Doctor of Political Sciences Serdar Gurbangulyevich Berdimuhamedov, was awarded the academic title of professor in economic and political specialties.

The title was awarded in accordance with the decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Attestation Committee of Turkmenistan, taking into account the colossal achievements of the head of the Turkmen state in implementing scientific and production, innovative and industrial, socio-economic and scientific and technical reforms of national and universal significance and making a significant contribution to modern science, as well as pursuing a peaceful domestic and foreign policy and significantly expanding international cooperation, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
