A meeting with Pakistan's Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad.
The parties exchanged views on current issues of regional stability and discussed prospects for further expansion of cooperation, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.
Ambassador A. Movlamov presented to the Minister a presentation on the progress of Turkmenistan's energy and infrastructure projects in the region, which are of strategic importance for strengthening energy security, developing regional connectivity, and expanding economic cooperation between the countries of Central and South Asia.
Having discussed ways to develop interparliamentary exchanges, the parties noted the significant potential for Turkmen-Pakistani cooperation in the areas of energy, transport, trade, investment, and humanitarian ties.
Following the meeting, mutual interest in further developing bilateral cooperation and promoting joint initiatives was confirmed, the source noted.
