Representatives of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan are participating in Alumni Week, organized by the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), according to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."
The international event brought together representatives of higher education institutions from around the world and became a platformfor exchanging experiences in higher education, developing academic cooperation, and strengthening international ties.
Cooperation between the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan and the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau has been ongoing since 2016, based on a signed memorandumof bilateral cooperation. Therefore, the key event of the visit was the meeting between the Turkmen delegation and the leadership of the West Saxon University.
During the talks, the parties summarized the results of their long-standing collaboration and identified promising areas for further cooperation. Joint research and educational projects, academic mobility programs, student and faculty exchanges, as well as cooperation in telecommunications, information security, and digital technologies were discussed.
The Rector of the University of Zwickau praised the level of training of specialists at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan and expressed interest in further expanding the partnership. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue cooperation and jointly develop new educational and scientific initiatives.
