Since the beginning of the year, 1993 square meters of carpets have been woven at the Halach enterprise

One of the leading groups making a worthy contribution to the development of Turkmen carpet art and satisfying the population's demand for traditional carpets is the Halach Artistic Carpet Weaving Enterprise.

Since the beginning of this year, 1993 square meters of carpets and rugs have been woven here, 129 square meters more than during the same period last year. The production growth rate was approximately 107%, according to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

The company is constantly engaged in creative research: alongside the use of ancient ornaments, new designs are created that reflect the spirit of the current era and the country's rapid development.

Here, they weave standard-sized carpets, as well as larger, round, and trapezoidal ones. They also weave carpets such as horjuns, women's handbags, "gapylyks" (doorway curtains), and much more.

The company was founded in 1959. Its workforce includes dozens of craftsmen who have been awarded the honorary title of "Honored Carpet Weaver of Turkmenistan" and other state awards.
