National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Ahmet Çalyk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Çalyk Holding Group of Companies. The meeting discussed the progress of major construction projects, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

Ahmet Çalyk conveyed greetings and best wishes from President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen People. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reciprocated with greetings and best wishes to the Turkish President.

Ahmet Çalyk reported on the company's operations in Turkmenistan. Construction is currently progressing at an accelerated pace on a large combined-cycle power plant on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea, as well as a new urea production complex, the foundation of which was laid in the Turkmenbashy etrap of the Balkan velayat. In addition, modernization of the Ahal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan continues. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that high-quality construction and timely completion of the facilities remain key requirements.
