“Olympiacos” won the Euroleague for the fourth time, beating “Real” in the Athens final

“Olympiacos” Piraeus has won the 2025/26 Euroleague Basketball season. In the final, held at the Telekom Center Athens arena in Athens, the Greek club defeated “Real” 92-85, according to Sport-Express.

“Real” started the match confidently, with a 15-3 run in the opening minutes giving the Spanish club the advantage. However, after a timeout by “Olympiacos” head coach Georgios Bartzokas, the Greeks gradually closed the gap and eventually took the lead. Late in the game, “Olympiacos” converted their chances more effectively, while “Real” shot attempts fell short. The final score was 92-85.

The best player of “Olympiacos” in the final was French guard Evan Fournier, who scored 20 points, grabbed five rebounds, and dished out four assists. Canadian forward Trey Lyles led “Real” with 24 points and eight rebounds. Real Madrid forward Mario Hezonja added 19 points and five assists.

Following the “Final Four”, Evan Fournier was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.

This was Olympiacos' fourth title in club history and its first since the 2012/13 season. “Real” still holds the all-time record for EuroLeague trophies, with 11.
