Toyo Engineering will conduct a large-scale modernization of the plant in Gyyanly

Japanese engineering company Toyo Engineering has begun a large-scale modernization of the Gyyanly Polymer Plant in Turkmenistan. This was announced by Tetsuji Miyazaki, Director of Toyo Engineering Corporation in Turkmenistan, at the "White City Ashgabat" conference.

The project is being implemented in two phases. During the first phase, the company will perform engineering work, conduct inspections, purchase equipment to completely replace the outdated facilities, and carry out dismantling. The second phase involves addressing technological challenges and launching the upgraded production.

Miyazaki noted that the president of Toyo Engineering met twice with the head of Turkmenistan last year, where the parties discussed partnership prospects. The corporation, founded in 1961, has implemented over 1000 projects in 60 countries, including 49 ethylene complexes and 36 polymer plants.

A company representative emphasized that Turkmenistan is one of Toyo Engineering's key development areas. The firm offers end-to-end project support, from feasibility studies to operation and maintenance.
