The final bell rang in all schools in Turkmenistan today.

During the ceremonial assemblies, teachers, parents, and local government representatives congratulated school graduates.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, schoolchildren across the country participated in international and national competitions and won numerous gold, silver, and bronze medals.

"The achievements of our youth are the prestige of our independent, neutral Fatherland, our national pride, and the remarkable fruits of our ongoing educational reforms," President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted in his address to the graduates.

According to the Ministry of Education, this academic year, 12 851 graduates graduated from school in Ashgabat, 237 in the city of Arkadag, 14,337 graduates in the Ahal velayat, 8 680 in the Balkan velayat, 23 798 in the Dashoguz velayat, about 23 700 in the Lebap velayat, and more than 25 000 in the Mary velayat.
