On May 18, a flower-laying ceremony at the Constitution Monument and the country's main flag took place in the capital with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

The events were also attended by the Chairman of the Mejlis, deputy prime ministers, heads of ministries and departments, military and law enforcement agencies, ambassadors and heads of international organizations, representatives of public organizations, the media, students, and numerous residents of the capital.

After the flower-laying ceremony, the President, having warmly congratulated everyone on the holiday, left the scene.
