The hakims of the Balkan and Dashoguz velayats reported to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the full implementation of plans to produce young sheep and camels at livestock farms in the regions, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reported.

The governor of the Lebap velayat also reported on the successful completion of the relevant season in the region, noting that the care of young animals continues as usual. In the Ahal and Mary velayats, work is underway to increase livestock numbers and boost livestock production.

The hakims' reports were heard during a working meeting held via videoconference by the President with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister T. Atahalliyev and the heads of all the country's velayats.

Following the meeting, Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the hakims to take all necessary measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the sericulture season, as well as the lamb and camel campaigns.
