Today in Tokyo, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Japan A. Bayramov met with Takuma Miyaji, Chairman of the Environment Committee of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Diet and member of the Japan-Turkmenistan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the parties discussed issues of expanding the potential of interparliamentary diplomacy, in particular, taking interaction between political parties to a new level.

In this regard, the importance of establishing direct contacts between the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan and the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan was noted.

An exchange of views on promoting practical partnerships in mutually beneficial areas such as environmental protection, agriculture, and horse breeding also took place, the source noted.
