London's “Arsenal” advanced to the Champions League final after defeating “Atlético” Madrid 1-0 in the second leg of their semi-final. The match took place at the Gunners' home stadium.
Bukayo Saka scored the only goal of the match in the 45th minute. The teams drew 1-1 in the first leg.
This is only “Arsenal's” second Champions League final in the club's history. The Gunners first reached the final in the 2005/06 season, but lost 2-1 to “Barcelona”.
The second finalist will be announced on Wednesday: German club “Bayern” Munich and French club “Paris Saint-Germain” will meet in Munich. The Parisian club leads after the first leg, winning 5-4.
The Champions League final is scheduled for May 30 and will be held in Budapest.
