On April 27, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Italy, Toyly Komekov, paid a working visit to Naples.

During the visit, he met with Professor Matteo Lorito, Rector of the University of Naples Federico II. The two discussed prospects for expanding cooperation between Turkmen universities and the Italian university in the fields of science, agriculture, and sustainable development, as well as improving the legal framework for cooperation.

That same day, the ambassador met with Dr. Giorgio Ventre, Scientific Director of the Apple Developer Academy, which operates at the university. The discussion focused on the possibility of collaborating in training specialists in digital technologies and programming, including developing practical skills.

Following the meetings, the parties agreed to organize mutual visits by representatives of the scientific and educational communities of the two countries in the near future to discuss in detail areas of cooperation.
