On April 19, the Beijing E-Town tech cluster in the Yizhuang district will host a half marathon featuring humans and humanoid robots. The finish line will be in Nanhaizi Park.

This is the second time the event has been held: last year, the organizers held a similar competition in a similar format. All participants start at the same time.

More than 300 robots representing over 100 teams from technology companies and universities, including one team from Hong Kong, are expected to take part in the race.

According to the organizers, the event aims to showcase advances in robotics and its integration into everyday life, combining sports and high technology, according to Kazinform, citing SCMP.
