The President of Turkmenistan ordered increased oversight of agricultural campaigns

At a working meeting, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed that agricultural standards be strictly observed and the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns be kept under constant review, according to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

Deputy Prime Minister Tangryguly Atahalliyev reported on the progress of seasonal work. He stated that mineral fertilizers and irrigation are being applied to wheat fields across the regions. At the same time, measures are being taken to ensure the timely start and completion of cotton sowing using modern agricultural machinery.

In addition, spring crop care continues, and silkworm eggs are being distributed among producers. Plowing and clearing of forested areas, pastures, and agricultural lands are underway to ensure fire safety.

After hearing the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the key role of the agricultural sector in ensuring the country's food security and emphasized the need to consistently implement best practices and scientifically proven innovative approaches in production. The Deputy Prime Minister was given corresponding instructions.
