For the first time in Ashgabat: a concert by renowned French pianist Christine Fonlupt

For the first time in Ashgabat, renowned French pianist Christine Fonlupt will perform a concert with the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan.

The musical evening will take place on April 10 at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater. It begins at 19:00.

The concert program will feature French classical works by composers such as Claude Debussy, Cécile Chaminade, Georges Bizet, Mel Boni, and Maurice Ravel.

According to a press release from the French Institute in Turkmenistan, Christine Fonloup is one of the leading figures in contemporary piano music. She has recently performed at the Salle Cortot, the Berlioz Festival, the Opéra Comique, the Institut de France, the Bastille Amphitheater, the Philharmonie de Paris, as well as at the Comédie-Française, the Lucerneur, the de Nesle, and the Avignon Festival, alongside Anne Baquet and William Mesguich.

She is the artistic director of the Arteka 11 association, which organizes numerous concerts throughout France. Christine also founded the Piano Orchestra project and teaches at the Paris National Conservatory, the Alfred Cortot Normal School of Music, and the Saint-Maur-des-Fossés Conservatory.

Christine Vonlupt's concert in Ashgabat is a significant cultural event that will be appreciated by all fans of classical music.
