Days of Turkmen culture “Inspired by Turkmenistan” to be held in St. Petersburg

On November 1, 2019 at 17.00 in the Historical Park “Russia - My History” in St. Petersburg (Basseinaya St., 32, building 1, metro “Victory Park”), the Days of Turkmen Culture “Inspired by Turkmenistan” will open. A special guest of the event is Iranian football player Zenit of Turkmen origin Serdar Azmun.
 
Guests of the festival will get acquainted with the exhibition of works by Turkmen painters "Turkmenistan - an oasis of inspiration."

Also in the program is the presentation of the book of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, "Turkmen Alabay." It tells about the real property of the country - a rare and valuable breed of dog.

The guests of the evening will enjoy a concert program, an exhibition of national costume, jewelry, objects of decorative art and national treats.

The event will be attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation, representatives of the Administration of St. Petersburg, the diplomatic corps, heads of cultural institutions, cultural and art workers of St. Petersburg.

For the first hundred guests, the organizers prepared souvenirs.

The event was organized by the Department of the World’s Humanitarian Association - the Society of Turkmen Culture in St. Petersburg "Mekan" with the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation, the Committee on Interethnic Relations and the Implementation of Migration Policy in St. Petersburg, the St. Petersburg House of Nationalities, as well as the NP Group design and construction companies "Renaissance".
