Yesterday, a meeting dedicated to the results of the industry's work for the first half of the year was held in the central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov. This was reported by ussatnews.com.
The meeting was also attended by the Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Industry Issues, Ashyrguly Begliyev.
The reports were made by the State Minister of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the State Concern "Türkmengaz" Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Concern "Türkmennebit" Guvanch Agajanov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa" Gurbangeldi Garlyev, as well as heads of associations, directorates and enterprises of the oil and gas complex.
The issues of increasing oil and natural gas production, their processing, identifying new promising fields, and intensifying work at the "Galkynysh" gas field were discussed. The issues of effective development of international cooperation, strengthening the raw material base of the oil and gas industry, conducting geological exploration using digital technologies, organizing work taking into account weather conditions and other important areas were also considered.
Batyr Amanov noted the importance of constant control over large projects, the correct implementation of production and planned tasks, and the continuation of construction of the Afghan section of the TAPI gas pipeline at an intensive pace.
The regularity of professional development of the industry's employees was also emphasized. He also outlined key tasks for the corporations "Türkmengaz", "Türkmennebit" and "Türkmengeologiýa".
