Over 300 Moscow State University Certificates for Russian Language Study Programs were awarded in Ashgabat

Teachers and students of the D. Azad Turkmen National Institute of World Languages received certificates of advanced training in the programs of studying and teaching Russian language and Russian literature of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. The ceremonial presentation of more than 300 documents took place on June 27 within the walls of the Turkmen Institute in Ashgabat.

As Yulia Zaitseva, First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan and representative of Rossotrudnichestvo, noted at the event, the knowledge gained will become the basis for the professional growth of graduates.

“We hope that the knowledge you have acquired in these courses will help you and become the foundation for your further career and professional growth,” the diplomat said.

Vice-Rector for Research at the Institute Selbi Batyrova emphasized the importance of studying Russian language and literature at the university. "This is not just part of the curriculum, it is a bridge of friendship between nations, which we help to strengthen every day," she noted.

The advanced training courses were held remotely in two stages: from February 24 to March 10 and from March 24 to April 7. The programs introduced listeners to the latest achievements of Russian scientists in the field of Russian philology.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Russian embassy, the administration of the institute and distinguished guests.
