Significant events of the second day of the Culture Week in Turkmenistan

The second day of the Culture Week, which started on June 22 in the Ahal velayat, was filled with various events reflecting the richness and diversity of Turkmen culture.

The program of the day opened with a colorful concert "Parahatçylygyň waspçylary" in the House of Culture of the village of Gami, Ak Bugday etrap, with the participation of children's creative groups of the country, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

The next event within the creative campaign was held at the Palace of Culture named after Malikguly Berdimuhamedov, located in the picturesque village of Yzgant in the Geoktepe etrap. The poetry evening "Baky Bitaraplyk - dillerde dessan!" was held there, bringing together famous and young poets of the country. The artistic reading and songs that were performed gave the evening a unique flavor.

The program of the second day of the Week included an excursion to the Berdimuhamed Annayev Museum, located in the Taze yol gengeshlik of the Babadayhan etrap. Visitors got acquainted with its rich exposition dedicated to the life and work of the outstanding educator and teacher, who left an indelible mark on the history and culture of Turkmenistan.

Then, a creative meeting was held at the etrap’s Cultural Center, where participants shared their impressions of visiting the museum and exchanged opinions on the importance of preserving the nation’s cultural heritage.

The second day ended with a grand concert featuring cultural figures from the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as the Ahal velayat. Among them were famous artists, musicians, and choreographic groups, who presented a wide range of genres of Turkmen art to the audience. The concert demonstrated the high level of professionalism of domestic stage masters and their contribution to the development of national culture.
