The official opening of the International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum 2025" took place in Kazan. The official ceremony was held at the Kazan Expo site with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin and Rais Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais RT website reports.

In parallel with the main forum, the International Exhibition Russia Halal Expo began its work, demonstrating the latest innovations in the halal industry. The exhibition presented products and services from 12 countries and 11 subjects of the Russian Federation.

The exhibition provides a unique opportunity for businesses to get acquainted with advanced developments in the halal sphere and establish new business contacts on an international platform.

KazanForum 2025, which brings together representatives of Russia and the Islamic world, will last in the capital of Tatarstan until May 18.
