A medical experiment has been launched in Europe: doctors at 22 clinics and research centers have begun to prescribe unusual prescriptions for their patients — visiting museums, doing sports, or participating in creative workshops. This unconventional approach is aimed at helping people whose health problems are related to social isolation, constant stress, or life’s difficulties, euro-pulse.ru reports.
Medical experts note that traditional treatments are not always effective for patients who have suffered from loneliness or chronic stress for years. The new approach refers patients to a special mentor who helps them choose the most suitable activities, from art classes to financial advice.
A telling case occurred at a clinic in Brandenburg, where a patient with a severe stress disorder began attending specialized stress management classes. After several months, he was able to return to a full life.
The project Is being carried out under the direction of the Berlin Charité clinic with financial support from the European Union. The experiment is planned for five years, and in case of positive results, this method can be implemented in all European countries.
