National Days of Central Asian Countries to Be Held at UN Conference in Avaza

The Central Asian countries will be able to celebrate their National Days within the framework of the UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which will be held on August 5-8 in Avaza, on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea. This was announced at a government meeting by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, TDH reports.

The head of the foreign policy department summed up the results of the friendly visits of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, which took place from April 21 to 24.

According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, during the visit, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited the Central Asian states to take part in the upcoming UN Conference. “This multilateral platform is designed to demonstrate the close relations between the countries of our region. It was also emphasized that during this period, each Central Asian state can hold its National Day in Avaza,” the report says.
