The Türkmenhowaýollary Agency is actively participating in a special program of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) aimed at improving the quality of training of specialists in the aviation industry. This was announced by the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammethan Chakyev during a government meeting, TDH reports.
The ICAO program is aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of training of aviation personnel around the world, as well as developing cooperation and exchanging experience between training centers in different countries. Turkmenistan’s participation in this initiative will contribute to the training of highly qualified specialists for the country’s air transport and expanding international cooperation in this area.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, having heard the report, emphasized the importance of further strengthening contacts with authoritative international organizations to train world-class specialists for the country’s civil aviation. The head of state approved the proposal to improve the activities of the air transport training school of the Türkmenhowaýollary agency and instructed the head of the Agency to carry out the necessary work in this direction.
