1. Representatives of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea held an online meeting to discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of information and cyber security. The talks were attended by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the State Cyber Security Service under the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency, and the Korean Internet and Information Security Agency (KISA). Representatives of the South Korean agency expressed interest in involving Turkmen specialists in international events and trainings held in the republic.
2. During the meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Akhmet Gurbanov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Edmondo Cirielli, the development of bilateral relations was discussed. The parties exchanged views on the initiative to approve the “Action Plan for the Creation of Multilateral Cooperation Networks between Central Asia and Italy for 2024-2025”, which covers issues such as energy transition, water resources, healthcare, agriculture, higher education and transport. The parties noted their mutual commitment to intensifying cooperation in the fields of education, archeology and culture.
3. On June 5, Ashgabat will host the International Scientific and Practical Conference on Environmental Aspects of Hydrocarbon Resources Extraction – TESC 2025. The event is organized by the State Concerns “Turkmengaz” and “Turkmennebit”. Registration for the conference is already open. Last year, the event attracted 250 delegates from 31 countries. A briefing was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on the results of the work of the second UN assessment mission in preparation for the Third Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which is scheduled to be held in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone in August of this year. During the briefing, the results of the recent official visit of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to Turkmenistan were also discussed.

1. Allanur Dayanjov won the title of Turkmenistan Tennis Champion for the first time in his career, beating last year's winner Meylis Orazmuhammedov in the final with a score of 7:5, 7:5. Dayanjov won a confident victory at the tournament, which was held on the courts of the Ashgabat multifunctional stadium. The championship brought together 114 athletes from the Ahal, Dashoguz, Lebap, Mary velayats and Ashgabat. In the women's tournament, 15-year-old Ilima Guseynova regained the champion title.
