According to a survey conducted by TechRadar, a significant majority of smartphone owners (62%) expressed dissatisfaction with the appearance of their devices, writes RAMBLER.
The survey "How do you feel about the design of flagship smartphones in 2025?" involved 1500 readers of the portal. The most common answer was the statement that "modern smartphone design is boring", which was supported by 915 respondents, which is 62% of the total number of respondents. Another 16% of participants agreed that the design of modern devices is monotonous, but at the same time noted a certain logic in such uniformity.
The authors of the study drew attention to the fact that only 14% of respondents (204 people) are completely satisfied with the design of phones on the market. At the same time, 8% of respondents believe that there is still a variety in the design of modern gadgets.
TechRadar journalists emphasized that at the current stage of development of the smartphone market, practicality and conciseness in style turned out to be a priority over originality.
