Within the framework of the 150th anniversary Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which is currently taking place in Tashkent, the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova met with the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalia Kochanova.
As reported on the website of the Mejlis, the importance of Turkmen-Belarusian interstate cooperation was noted at the meeting.
The parties particularly emphasized that the philosophy of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Dialogue is a guarantee of peace” is an important initiative in strengthening peace and trust between countries, strengthening friendly and fraternal relations.
Dunyagozel Gulmanova invited Natalia Kochanova to take part in the events that will be held in the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and the International Year of Peace and Trust.
Recall that on April 5, the working visit of the Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova to Uzbekistan began to participate in the 150th anniversary Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (UIP).
