President Serdar Berdimuhamedov awarded Turkmen diplomats for their great achievements in strengthening state independence and neutrality, implementing the foreign policy course, developing relations in the political, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres, protecting the state interests of Turkmenistan, many years of conscientious and exemplary work in the diplomatic service, as well as on the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic Workers of the country. This was reported by the news program “Watan” of Turkmen television.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus Nazarguly Shagulyev, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov and the Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif Bazarbay Kakabaev were awarded the “Skilled Diplomat of Turkmenistan” (“Türkmenistanyň ussat diplomaty”) badge of distinction.
The badge of distinction for employees of the diplomatic service was established in Turkmenistan in 2021.
