An extraordinary event occurred on board an Uzbekistan Airways flight from Tashkent to New York: one of the passengers went into labor. By a lucky chance, there was an obstetrician and a surgeon among the passengers who helped deliver the baby. A boy was born.
In this regard, the crew decided to make an emergency landing at the airport in Keflavik (Iceland). After landing, local doctors came on board to provide the necessary assistance. The mother and newborn were taken to the clinic.
