During his visit to Monaco, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with the head of the French company Bouygues Martin Bouygues. The meeting was devoted to discussing the current state and future opportunities for partnership between Turkmenistan and the Bouygues company, TDH reports.
Martin Bouygues noted that it is a great honor for his company to cooperate with Turkmenistan and participate in the implementation of large-scale projects aimed at transforming the architectural appearance of white marble Ashgabat. He confirmed his interest in further strengthening its position in the promising Turkmen market.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in turn, emphasized that expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with large foreign companies is one of the main areas of Turkmenistan’s foreign economic strategy. He highly appreciated the activities of the Bouygues company and expressed readiness to deepen cooperation.
During the meeting, important aspects of the large-scale urban development program being implemented in Turkmenistan were discussed. The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty noted that the harmonious combination of advanced architectural and engineering developments with the best principles of national architecture, a creative approach, active use of innovative technologies and strict adherence to environmental safety standards are key elements of this program. He also emphasized that the level of quality and commissioning of facilities within the established time frame are primary requirements. In addition, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan is interested in cooperation in the field of digital systems and is ready to consider specific proposals from Bouygues. Ashgabat, rapidly developing and turning into a modern metropolis, is confidently strengthening its position as a center of regional and global cooperation.
