During his visit to the Principality of Monaco, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Prince Albert II of Monaco. The meeting was devoted to discussing the prospects for bilateral cooperation and current issues of international politics, TDH reports.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Monaco were established in 2015, and this year marks the 10th anniversary of their establishment. During the meeting, Prince Albert II noted the proactive role of Turkmenistan in implementing the global agenda, which contributes to the intensification of interstate dialogue based on mutual benefit.
During the meeting, the possibilities of expanding cooperation in various fields, including culture, sports and tourism, were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the development of circus arts and the exchange of experience in the tourism industry. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Prince Albert II emphasized the importance of taking bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level that meets modern requirements and mutual interests.
The official welcoming ceremony for the distinguished guest took place at the Princely Palace, where a joint photo ceremony was also held with the participation of Princess Stephanie of Monaco. During the bilateral meeting in a narrow format, the parties confirmed their commitment to expanding constructive partnership, including within the framework of authoritative international structures.
