Vinay Hiremath, one of the creators of the Loom app, who earned almost a billion dollars, spoke about the unexpected difficulties he faced after achieving financial success. After selling the company, the entrepreneur found himself in a situation of complete freedom, which, contrary to expectations, led to the loss of life guidelines, writes gazeta.ru with reference to the Telegram channel NN.

In an attempt to find a new calling, Hiremath tried various paths: starting a new business project, going on an expedition to the Himalayas without prior preparation, and dedicating a month to working on the DOGE project. However, none of these endeavors brought him a sense of meaning and satisfaction.

“My life has been a blur for the last year. After selling my company, I found myself in a completely unfamiliar situation: I will never have to work again. Everything seems secondary, but not inspiring. I don’t have those basic desires that made me earn money or achieve status. I have endless freedom, but I don’t know what to do with it, and, frankly, I’m not very optimistic about life”, - the entrepreneur shared on his blog.

In search of a new meaning in life, Hiremath moved to Hawaii, where he is currently studying physics. His next goal is to create a company that will make “real things”.
